We’re proud to announce that this week, GoVets will be attending Veterans in Economic Transition Conference — VETCON 2025 — in Albany, New York. The conference takes place December 2 – 3, 2025, at the Crowne Plaza Desmond Hotel.
VETCON is the premier national conference dedicated to the professional development and support of veterans, veteran-owned businesses, and veterans transitioning into civilian careers. It brings together entrepreneurs, industry leaders, state agencies, and veteran advocates — offering seminars, networking, business-development mentorship, and opportunities for contracting or growth.
With sessions covering everything from “How to Start and Fund Your Veteran-Owned Small Business” to “Opportunities for SDVOBs to Do Business with NYS Agencies & Authorities,” VETCON offers a wealth of resources for veterans seeking to build careers or launch ventures.
Moreover, the conference features a Business Plan Competition and the “Veterans in Business Awards,” giving veteran-owned enterprises a chance to showcase their ideas and earn recognition and support.
We’ll be attending — engaging with fellow veterans, veteran-owned businesses, and state agencies.
We aim to explore new partnerships and gather insights on veteran entrepreneurship, government contracting, and the broad opportunities available to veterans nationwide.
We’ll share what we learn with the GoVets community — new resources, connections, and potential services that could benefit veterans everywhere.
If you’re at VETCON this year — or are thinking about attending — we’d love to connect. Please reach out to us while we’re there. If you’re a veteran or veteran-owned small business in our network, stay tuned: we’ll share highlights, takeaways, and actionable opportunities after the conference.
We believe strongly that when veterans come together — via education, collaboration, and shared support — we build a stronger, more empowered community.
See you in Albany!
